Sugar skull decorating kits made by three sisters in the Pacific NW.

  • Step one

Unpack your sugar skulls and set up an area where your finished skulls will be able to dry.

  • Step two

Using scissors, cut off the tip of each royal icing bag so that you can squeeze out a thin line of icing. Use the icing to decorate your skull or use it as glue to attach sequins, feathers or pieces of foil.

  • Step three

Leave your artwork to dry for at least a few hours, or even better - overnight.
